The Prefab Messiahs 12" is still available but moving quickly. Won't be around much longer, so don't sleep if you'd like a physical copy.  If you live outside of the US please do not worry if you have not received your order yet. The USPS pretty much comes to a halt during the month of December, so delays are to be expected. Thanks to everyone for their support this year. Exciting things are on the horizon. Up Next : 7" releases from Mist and John Maus followed by a repress of Martin Newell's "Songs for a Fallow Land" (due to popular demand) & even more underground treasures....

Fixed Identity-002 Update

Fixed Identity will no longer be releasing nick nicely's "Space of a Second". Our next vinyl release will be an amazing collection of early recordings from The Prefab Messiahs, titled: "Peace Love & Alienation". More information will be available shortly. We are very excited for this one. We also have cassettes on the way from: Amen Dunes, Gary War and The Gamecock. Then a 7" from Mist. Fixed Identity 001: Martin Newell-Songs For A Fallow Land

Fixed Identity is proud to announce the release of Martin Newell's 1985 masterpiece "Songs For A Fallow Land". Newell, mastermind of UK d.i.y. group The Cleaners From Venus, crafted these songs in an old stable building in self-described "extreme poverty" resulting in an extremely inspired and highly personal realization of perfect underground psychedelic pop. Originally released in an edition of 100 cassettes, F.I. has remastered each song from Martin's original chrome tapes to be issued on LP in a limited pressing of 500 copies containing liner notes by the "Wild Man Of Wivenhoe" himself. Available February 2011.
